The Secretly Amazing Blouse

In the office, it is completely appropriate to wear a head to toe business look: fitted blazer, fitted pant/skirt, and blouse. However, when deciding to step out after a long day, instead of keeping it simple under your blazer, spice up your top! Wear a great sleeveless blouse that shows off your arms, or a bold print that completely pops when the blazer is taken out of the equation. A top with pretty detailing on the back is also great for frolicking after work. While hidden under your blazer in the office, this look gives you and your outfit a chance to truly make a statement!

White Collar Work

If one of your favorite go-to work shirts is a white button up (definitely a great choice), there is an easy way to transition this piece from day to night. Simply add knockout jewelry! A cute, bulky necklace and matching earrings add style to any plain blouse. A “collar” necklace is also a fabulous accessory option. Unfasten the first few buttons of the top and cuff the sleeves to remove the “business” aspect from this whole look. If you prefer the tail of your top tucked in while in the office, get risky and let your hem hang free!

Foot Party

When wearing a dress in the office, it’s likely that it’s paired with a great pair of flats or small heels to keep you comfortable and look professional. At night, completely turn the look around by switching out your flats for an outstanding pair of pumps. Adding heels with stylish prints and designs are a great way to spice up a solid color dress and visa versa!

All About Top

If you are lucky enough to have a casual Friday at your office, take advantage of it! Dark denim is great for the occasion, and will not require much reworking to be the perfect outfit for meeting up with your girlfriends after work. Try matching the denim with an equally amazing top: tailored sweater, printed cardigan, or a bright blouse. This way, when meeting your friends for drinks after work, the most you will have to do is reapply lip gloss.

Blazing Blazer

While blazers sometimes read “office attire only,” there are exceptions to the rule! Instead of rocking an all black blazer straight from the office to a night on the town, instead choose the item in a different color or print. This can be the focal point of your outfit, and worn with great accessories and minimal hair and makeup can really give a chic look!
