Nelson is the President of Lingo Consulting, Inc., a Los Angeles-based marketing and communications firm dedicated to helping individuals and organizations learn and ‘leverage their lingo.’ Her clients include Target, General Mills, Transamerica, American Heart Association, Big Brothers and Sisters, Kaiser Permanente, American Marketing Association (both National and the Los Angeles chapter), Pepperdine University, and several corporate work groups and private individuals. Nelson is a RIVA-certified moderator with a degree in Journalism from Boston University. Her book, Effective Communications for Women in Business launched summer 2014, and will be followed by Talk to Me: 11 Ways to Make Your Conversations Richer, Deeper, and More Meaningful, due out fall 2014. Jenn Clark is a writer, blogger, and all around “sex-pert.” In 2010, she put her two passions – writing and relationship advice – together and created the popular blog “Jenn X: 30Something & Single.”

Jasmine LillyJasmine is a finance professional and part-time travel blogger currently based in Washington, DC. She has been to various states, the Caribbean, Africa and Europe with plans to visit just about everywhere.

Editor Intern – Samantha Purcell-Musgrave

Samantha PM
Samantha Purcell-Musgrave is a Junior at the University of Central Florida. She is currently studying Health Services Administration and Journalism. She would like to one day become the CEO of a hospital. Once she achieves that goal, she would like to be a writer for a music magazine. Overall, Samantha would like to help foster the growth of a company into something bigger than itself. During her downtime, she likes to go to musical theater, concerts and operas. She also likes to travel, take photographs, write and spend time with her friends and family.

Emily Adair is an editor, writer and all-around information aficionado with further aspirations in content creation. She studies Journalism and Political Science and Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. When she’s not in class, she is actively involved at the student newspaper and in the Gender Studies Club. Emily is from a small town, but her thoughts are big, and she knows good writing can have a lasting effect.





Event Planner Intern – Sidra Anees


Sidra Anees is currently attending Southern Methodist University. She has been planning events professionally for the past six years and hopes to pursue event planning as a full time career. Aside from event planning, Sidra’s other passions include dancing, baking, and traveling. She can’t wait to meet the SheNOW members at the upcoming events!





Public Relations Intern – Emily Beckman


Emily Beckman is a senior Public Relations student at Radford University in Southwest Virginia. She is about to embark on her final semester as an undergraduate student and she has loved every last minute of her time in college. After graduation, she plans to move far away from her hometown of Richmond, Virginia and take a job for a PR firm or a recruiting company. She is passionate about helping others and is looking forward to taking a job for a company that can make a difference in the lives of many people. Social Media Intern – Taylor Fettig

Taylor Fettig is a senior at the University of North Texas. She will be receiving her degree in English Creative Writing, a Technical Writing Certificate, and a minor in Italian. After studying abroad in Italy during the summer of 2012, she realized her passion for travel and hopes to backpack across Europe before she turns 30. Taylor is involved in numerous organizations and honor societies at UNT and will graduate with honors in May 2013.







IT – Kris Kramer

Kris Kramer is a writer, part-time blogger, software architect and self-styled ebook publisher. His current book, The Organization, is available on Amazon, as will be his forthcoming series, Tales of the Lore Valley. Along with several other talented writers, he runs the4threalm.com, which publishes quality ebooks for multiple genres, including fantasy, science-fiction, and crime fiction. In addition, he runs Kramer Consulting, which provides software developer consultations and contract work.

MJ Seikaly is an editor, writer, and graphic designer for Web, print, and social media. She has a passion for helping companies and individuals communicate to their target audience through a balance of well-crafted design and text. Public Relations and Marketing Manager – Sarah Parker

Sarah Parker is the SheNOW Public Relations and Marketing Manager. Her belief in the SheNOW mission and message is one born of friendship and experience, and she would especially like to break the stereotype tied to women and cats. Outside of SheNOW, Sarah uses her degree in PR, and her years of work experience for Fortune 500 Companies, to run her PR and Marketing freelance consulting business. Senior Sales Assistant – Michelle Lampkin Capers


A native of North Babylon, NY Michelle Capers lived in Columbia, South Carolina before settling on the outskirts suburban neighborhood of Indian Trail, North Carolina where she now makes her home. Michelle has earned her BFA in Visual Communications/Digital Design at American Intercontinental University, Hoffman Estates, IL Online, where she completed her degree with honors and acquiring a 3.9 GPA.

A mother of four children, two daughters, 17 and 21 and twin boys both 11 years old, Michelle enjoys working from home and being a freelance associate in the areas of customer service/sales and writing.

A aspiring writer as well as a skilled Customer Service Representative in several sectors of client/retail services, to include GE Finance, Sprint, and Citibank to name a few, Michelle is currently working with SheNOW as a Sales Manager recruiting Sales Associates and in collaboration with acquiring industry cooperatives/service appointments for Brenna Smith. In her spare time, Michelle is working on a collection of short stories and fiction books to eventually publish in the public sector, with dreams of being a published writer one day. Michelle writes freelance articles in her spare time as well for several online publications.
